FoSTaC — Food Safety Training and Certification — is FSSAI's flagship programme for creating trained, certified Food Safety Supervisors in food businesses across India. If you hold a State or Central FSSAI license, having certified FoSTaC supervisors is not optional — it is a legal requirement.
Who Must Undergo FoSTaC Training?
- At least one Food Safety Supervisor per 25 food handlers in State and Central licensed establishments
- Food handlers in manufacturing, processing, and food service businesses
- Owners and managers of food businesses applying for State/Central License
FoSTaC Training Modules Available

How to Register for FoSTaC Training
- Visit foscos.fssai.gov.in and login to your account
- Go to FoSTaC section and click "Register for Training"
- Select your food business type and appropriate training module
- Choose a Training Partner (TP) from the approved list in your city
- Pay training fee and attend the program
- Appear for the online assessment (minimum 60% to pass)
- Download your FoSTaC certificate (valid for 3 years)
FoSTaC Training Fee
